1. Data Controller
TriLaw Attorneys’ Partnership (registered seat: 1025 Budapest, Szépvölgyi út 52., available at www.trilaw.hu/contact, hereinafter: the “Controller”) respects the personal data of its website visitors and clients.
This notice applies to the processing of personal data provided when visiting the website, using the contact form, or sending direct e-mails to the Controller.
2. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
The Controller processes the personal data you voluntarily provide for the following purposes:
- contacting and maintaining communication, responding to inquiries,
- providing information on legal services and responding to related requests.
Legal basis:
- the Controller’s legitimate interest (Article 6 (1) f) GDPR), namely to respond to incoming inquiries and maintain contact,
- where the inquiry of a natural person results in an attorney-client engagement or contract, the legal basis of processing is the preparation and performance of the contract (Article 6 (1) b) GDPR).
If no contract follows the inquiry, the Controller deletes the personal data after closing the inquiry.
3. Categories of Personal Data Processed
- name, e-mail address, telephone number (if provided),
- any further personal data contained in the message text,
- IP address (for the duration of the visit).
The Controller does not request special (sensitive) personal data.
4. Duration of Processing
- if a contract is concluded: until completion of the engagement and during the statutory retention period,
- in the absence of a contract: until the inquiry is closed, after which the data will be deleted.
5. Data Transfer and Processor
The Controller does not transfer personal data to third parties. Its hosting service provider (as processor) is Rackhost Kft.
6. Data Subject Rights
You are entitled to:
- request information about the processing of your personal data,
- access the processed data,
- request rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing,
- object to the processing of your personal data.
You may submit your request to the Controller via the contact details above, and you will receive a response without undue delay, but no later than within 30 days.
7. Remedies
If you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes your rights, you may lodge a complaint with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH):
